Are my personal details protected?
It is Hanky Schmanky’s policy not to sell or divulge the personal details of its customers to marketers or unrelated companies. Should Hanky Schmanky, as part of its business development, acquire other companies, Hanky Schmanky will only send you information about those companies and their products if you have requested ongoing information.

How can I order if I don’t have a credit card?
If you live in Australia you can order hankies by sending a money order or cheque to:

Once your cheque has cleared, your hankies will be despatched. Include your name, address, an e-mail address if you have one and a telephone number in case we need to contact you. Specify the names and size (standard or large) of the handkerchiefs you want and how many.

Are my credit card details protected?
The use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software for ordering products means that details of your card are encrypted for secure transmission over the internet.

I can't change my billing or shipping address. What should I do?
The ordering system lets you store five addresses. After that, you will need to delete an address in order to add a new one. To do that go to My Account (which is in the little menu strip at the top right hand side of the products page). A page comes up entitled My Account Information. On that page go to the My Account section and click on View or change entries in my address book. That will dissplay all your stored addresses and offer you the opportunity to edit or delete each one.

How can I order several gifts at once?

If you want to send multiple gifts, you may order all hankies on one form, put "Multiple gifts, see email, a city and a postcode" in the shipping address and then email us at sales@hankyschmanky.com.au a list of the hankies you have ordered and the addresses to which they should be sent. This allows multiple gifts on one credit card transaction.

 

What do I do if I am not happy with my purchase?
Hanky Schmanky is committed to customer satisfaction. Please choose items carefully because we do not exchange or refund if you have simply changed your mind. If the handkerchief you receive is not the design you ordered, you can return it (see below) and we will gladly replace it. If you are not satisfied with your purchase because it is damaged or defective, you may return it for replacement or refund (see below). If you were sent the wrong handkerchief or the product is defective, Hanky Schmanky will also refund the return postage.

To claim a replacement or refund, return the handkerchief and the packaging with a copy of your receipt and a short note outlining your request to Hanky Schmanky Pty Ltd, Mail Box 236/421 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley, QLD 4006, Australia. To claim a replacement or refund, items must be returned within 14 days of dispatch for Australian purchasers and within 30 days of dispatch for orders outside Australia.

How do I wash my Hanky Schmanky hanky?
Your Hanky Schmanky hanky is made from pure cotton and has been hand-dyed and printed in Australia. Variations in cloth and dye are a natural part of handmade goods. Wash separately for the first few washes. Do not bleach. Hang to dry. Iron on cotton setting.
